Item Highlights
Red Corno di Toro Peppers
Red Corno di Toro peppers are a classic Italian variety named for their distinctive shape that resembles a bull’s horn. Corno di Toro peppers originated in Italy and became especially popular in Italian American gardens because they perform well in warm growing conditions. Their combination of sweetness, thin flesh, and almost complete lack of heat makes them quite different from thicker, crunchier bell peppers while still offering plenty of the same versatility. Try them roasted, grilled, sautéed, or stuffed, or slice them into pasta, sandwiches, pizzas, salads, and grain dishes. They are also excellent simply cooked in olive oil with garlic and herbs.
Di Stefano Ciliegine Mozzarella
Di Stefano Cheese, a family-owned dairy company in Southern California, has a lifetime of experience, tradition, and passion for making cheese. Their boutique-style artisan cheese plant is dedicated to making burrata and other fresh Italian-style cheeses. They work to ensure that their cheese is the most authentic available in the United States. They support farmers with ethical farming practices and keep their cows in large, healthy pastures free to roam where they wish. Ciliegine, derived from the Italian word for “cherries”, are small balls of fresh, creamy mozzarella. Their size makes them perfect for salads, skewers, or easy snacks!
Andante Dairy Acappella
As the name Andante indicates, founder Soyoung Scanlan makes cheese using traditional methods at her own pace, with each cheese given a musical name. Acappella was Andante’s first cheese using only goat’s milk, and its name reflects the purity of a vocal sound without any accompaniment. Coated in vegetable ash, it’s rich, gooey, and tangy, with a bold flavor and underlying funk.
Pacific Pickle Works Brussizzle Sprouts
Pacific Pickle Works is a Santa Barbara-based pickle company that uses all-natural, hand-packed produce exclusively grown in California. After years of making pickles for family and friends, founder Bradley Bennett began to sell his original spicy pickles to small businesses in the area. They were a hit, so he expanded to pickling other vegetables! These zesty, meaty pickled Brussels sprouts are infused with notes of vinegar, onion, garlic, and jalapeño to create a one-of-a-kind flavor. They’re sweet, tangy, savory, and lightly spicy. Absolutely perfect for elevating a cheeseboard, salad, or midnight snack time.
Monsoon Kokoa Kamili Tanzania 77% Chocolate
Monsoon crafts their bean-to-bar chocolate in small batches in Tucson, Arizona, using cocoa beans from all over the world. Kokoa Kamili operates a central fermentary in the Kilombero Valley of Tanzania, working with nearly 3,000 smallholder farms. This approach reduces workload for farmers, improves fermentation consistency, and allows for the highest level of quality control. This bar is bright and fruit-forward. It’s layered, sweet, and surprisingly complex for a 77% dark chocolate.
