Item Highlights

Fava Beans

Fava beans, also known as broad beans, are one of the oldest cultivated crops in the world. They grow in thick green pods, each filled with beans that have a slightly starchy, buttery texture and a fresh, grassy flavor with a subtle sweetness. They are incredibly versatile in the kitchen. They can be blanched and tossed into salads, mashed into spreads, or folded into pastas and grain dishes where their richness adds depth. They’re also a classic pairing with spring ingredients like peas, asparagus, mint, and pecorino. Beyond their flavor, favas are a great source of plant-based protein, fiber, and essential nutrients, making them both a seasonal treat and a nourishing staple.

Fleur Verte

Le Chèvrefeuille is a small artisan goat cheese producer based in the Périgord region of France, known for crafting fresh chèvre that highlights the purity and character of the milk. Their cheeses are made with a focus on simplicity and short aging, allowing delicate flavors to shine. Fleur Verte, meaning “green flower,” is a fresh goat’s milk cheese aged for just a few days before being wrapped and sent out. It’s coated in a blend of dried thyme, tarragon, and crushed pink peppercorn, giving it a fragrant, herbaceous quality. The interior is soft, moist, and chalk-white, with a clean, tangy flavor and a bright, lemony finish. The herbs infuse the cheese with a subtle savory complexity that complements its fresh, milky character.

Andante Dairy Picolo

Andante Dairy is a small California creamery founded by Soyoung Scanlan, known for producing elegant, European-inspired cheeses with a strong focus on craftsmanship and milk quality. Each cheese is made in small batches with careful attention to detail at her own pace, resulting in distinctive, expressive styles. Picolo is a petite, soft-ripened cow’s milk cheese with a delicate bloomy rind and a beautifully creamy interior. It’s a combination of the rich Jersey milk and crème fraîche. As it ripens, it becomes nutty, smooth, soft on the tongue, and melts in the mouth instantly. It’s balanced and refined, never feeling heavy. Its small format makes it perfect for a simple cheese plate, where it can be enjoyed with fresh fruit, honey, or a Leavity baguette!

Herbes de Provence Vandy Crisps Potato Chips by Ancient Crunch

Vandy Crisps’ name honors the original creator of the potato chip in 1853, Cornelius Vanderbilt. Back in those days, potato chips were just fresh, thin-sliced potatoes, fried to a golden crisp in beef tallow. Since then, potato chips became mass-produced, and food companies began to cut corners, using cheaper, unnatural ingredients. Vandy Crisps decided to create a chip that was made as they used to be. They usenaturally grown potatoes (free of CIPC), grass fed and finished beef tallow, and unrefined sea salt. Their Herbes de Provence flavor features a classic spice blend from Southern France, featuring aromatic, naturally grown herbs like rosemary, oregano, and thyme.
