Item Highlights
Red Butter Lettuce
Sunrise Organic Farms, co-founded in 2015 by Samantha Watson, Jesus Salas, and Andrew Gibson, has grown from a modest 12-acre plot to over 200 acres across Santa Barbara County. They’re guided by a commitment to organic, sustainable farming.
Red butter lettuce is similar to green butter lettuce, with its most noticeable difference being its beautiful red hue. It’s also often more earthy in flavor than the green variety, while still being mild and slightly sweet. The cup-shaped leaves make it perfect for salads or lettuce wraps!
Pecorino Romano
Pecorino Romano is a bold and iconic Italian cheese with a history that dates back thousands of years. Made from sheep’s milk and aged for at least eight months, this hard, salty cheese is a cornerstone of traditional Italian cuisine. Its production follows strict guidelines that preserve its authenticity. Renowned for its sharp, tangy flavor and crumbly texture, Pecorino Romano is as essential to Italian cooking as pasta itself. Perfect for grating over dishes like carbonara or cacio e pepe, it also enhances soups, salads, and roasted vegetables. Celebrated around the world, it’s a must-have cheese for those who appreciate timeless Italian flavors!
Ewephoria
Ewephoria is an exceptional sheep’s milk gouda made in the Friesland region of the Netherlands. Crafted by Dutch cheesemakers with a deep respect for tradition, this semi-hard cheese was originally developed for the American market to showcase the rich, sweet flavors of sheep’s milk. Aged for at least six months, Ewephoria has a golden, crumbly texture and a buttery flavor profile that combines caramel and butterscotch notes with a slight nuttiness.
Marmalade Grove “Tea Time” Navel Orange and Ceylon Tea Marmalade
Marmalade Grove elevates the art of citrus farming by listening to the land and those who look after it, growing their treasured fruit sustainably while contributing to the local community. Their marmalades are crafted year-round from fresh Ojai citrus and are unlike anything you’ve ever had before; each variety is distinct and vibrantly flavorful. Their “Tea Time” variety is a standout, made from juicy Navel oranges and bold Ceylon tea. The tea adds aromatic bergamot notes to the bright orange flavor, making it ideal on toast, swirled into yogurt, or drizzled over dessert.
Amano Mango Chili 65% Dark Chocolate
Amano’s Mango Chili Dark Chocolate is a blend of tropical sweetness and smoky heat, crafted with the same meticulous attention to detail that defines all of Amano’s award-winning bars. Rich dark chocolate, made from carefully sourced cacao from the Guayas River Basin in Ecuador, is infused with vibrant mango and a touch of chili. The chocolate first reveals the juicy sweetness of mango, then finishes with a lingering, gentle heat. As one of the pioneers of American craft chocolate, Amano is known for its dedication to fine ingredients and traditional European techniques, resulting in deeply complex and flavorful bars.
